Who can take part
- You have at least 3 pairs of cavities (6 total) on the front surfaces of your upper or lower front teeth, near where the tooth meets the gum
- Your bite is normal and complete—your upper and lower teeth meet properly when you close your mouth
- You practice good oral hygiene (brush and floss regularly) and can maintain it throughout the study
- You are willing to come in for checkups and follow-up visits for 2 years
- Your teeth do not have nerve damage or infection (pulpitis) and do not need root canal treatment
- You do not have gum disease or active gum inflammation
