Who can take part
- BMI between 25–35 kg/m² (Part A) or 27–40 kg/m² (Parts B & C), roughly overweight to moderately obese
- Weight at least 70 kg and stable (no more than 5% change) for 3 months before starting
- Blood sugar control: HbA1c ≤6.4% (no diabetes, prediabetes, or high recent blood sugar)
- Healthy kidneys: eGFR >60 mL/min (a measure of kidney function)
- Blood pressure ≤140/90 mmHg, controlled with 2 or fewer blood pressure medications
- No previous use of GLP-1, GIP, or amylin medications in the past 6 months
