Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with stage I–III hormone-receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that was surgically removed
  • You have completed at least 24 months of hormone therapy (including at least 6 months of an aromatase inhibitor) and at least 12 months of CDK4/6 inhibitor (unless you couldn't tolerate it or chose not to)
  • You have a positive MRD test result (Pathlight assay), which shows microscopic cancer cells may still be present despite standard treatment
  • You have no signs of cancer recurrence or spread on imaging or physical exam
  • You have adequate kidney, liver, and bone marrow function (checked by blood tests)
  • You have not previously received capecitabine and have no genetic variant (DPYD) that would make capecitabine unsafe for you
