Testing RB1-negative Leiomyosarcoma Treatment with REC-617

This study tests a new drug called REC-617 in patients with a rare muscle cancer (leiomyosarcoma) that has spread or cannot be surgically removed. The drug targets cancer cells that lack a specific protein called RB1, and you must have already tried at least one other cancer treatment before joining.

Who can take part

  • Confirmed leiomyosarcoma diagnosis with RB1-negative status (determined by tissue biopsy)
  • Cancer is metastatic (spread to other parts of body) or cannot be surgically removed
  • At least one prior systemic therapy (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or similar treatment)
  • Age 18 or older with adequate organ function and life expectancy over 3 months
  • Ability to swallow pills and commit to contraception for the study duration
  • Tumor lesions accessible for biopsy (at least 2cm if only one lesion available)
