Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)—a condition where breathing stops briefly during sleep—confirmed by a sleep study
  • Currently using a CPAP machine (the mask that helps you breathe at night) for at least 3 months
  • Age 30–65 years old
  • Have not done regular exercise in the past 6 months
  • Body mass index (BMI, a measure of weight relative to height) of 35 or less
  • No serious heart, lung, nerve, or muscle problems that would make exercise unsafe
