Who can take part
- You have symptomatic chronic heart failure diagnosed at least 3 months ago
- You take at least 40 mg of furosemide (water pill) daily or an equivalent dose
- You recently had a heart failure hospitalization, received IV diuretics/heart medications, or have elevated BNP/NT-proBNP blood levels
- You have not had a heart attack or stroke in the last 30 days
- You do not have severe kidney disease (GFR below 15), liver cirrhosis, active cancer, or serious cognitive impairment
- You are not currently in acute heart failure crisis and have not had major heart surgery in the last 3 months
