Who can take part

  • Your child is 6 years old or younger
  • Your child had a blunt head injury (like a fall or bump) that caused bruising or swelling
  • Your child is alert and responsive (Glasgow Coma Scale score of 14 or higher—meaning they can follow simple commands)
  • You are able and willing to sign a consent form allowing your child to participate
  • Your child is medically stable (no severe bleeding, shock, or serious neurological changes)
