Ultrasound Brain Stimulation for Stroke Arm Weakness

Who can take part

  • You had your first ischemic stroke (blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain) confirmed by imaging, with weakness on one side of your body
  • Your stroke occurred between 21 days and 6 months ago, and you are in the recovery phase
  • Your arm weakness is mild to moderate (not completely paralyzed, but not fully normal)
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You do not have MRI contraindications, metal implants in your head, pacemakers, or cochlear implants
  • You are mentally alert, able to understand instructions, and can cooperate with study assessments
