Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and are being treated at Grenoble University Hospital
  • Your doctor has recommended surgery to implant deep brain stimulation electrodes as part of your routine care
  • You will receive a Medtronic PERCEPT stimulator (the standard device used in this hospital)
  • You speak and understand French well enough to complete questionnaires and interviews
  • You are able to consent to the study and are covered by French social security or equivalent health insurance
  • You do not have severe cognitive problems (like advanced dementia) or severe depression that would make participation unsafe
