Who can take part
- You have noticed difficulty hearing in noisy environments for at least 6 months before screening
- You have a speech-in-noise hearing deficit (trouble understanding speech in background noise) in at least one ear, confirmed by hearing tests
- Your hearing ranges from normal to moderately severe impairment on audiometric testing
- You do not have a perforated eardrum (hole in the eardrum) or current ear infection
- You have not had any ear surgery in the past
- You are not taking any medications known to damage hearing (ototoxic drugs)
