Who can take part

  • You are a man age 50 or older
  • You have been diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) causing urinary symptoms
  • Your prostate is between 30–80 cubic centimeters in size (confirmed by ultrasound or MRI)
  • Your urinary flow rate is slow (≤12 mL/sec) and you have significant symptom burden
  • You have not had prior prostate surgery or minimally invasive treatments (such as TURP, laser, or UroLift)
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electrical devices that would interfere with the treatment
