Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You are having arthroscopic shoulder surgery (minimally invasive surgery using a camera)
  • Your kidney function is adequate (creatinine clearance ≥50 mL/min)
  • You do not have heart failure or conditions that make NSAIDs unsafe for you
  • You can understand and report your pain level on a pain scale during recovery
  • You are able and willing to receive a nerve block injection (numbing medicine around nerves in your shoulder)
