Who can take part

  • You have a type of crossed eye (esotropia) that started before 6 months of age (infantile) or after 6 months (acquired non-accommodative or partially accommodative), with an eye turn between 10 and 30 prism diopters.
  • You are between 4 months and 17 years old for infantile esotropia, or between 6 months and 17 years for the acquired types.
  • You have not had botulinum toxin injections or eye muscle surgery before for crossed eyes.
  • You have no significant health problems affecting the brain or eyes, such as cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, or optic nerve issues.
  • You are not severely nearsighted (myopia less than 6.00 diopters) and can wear glasses if needed for at least 2 weeks before joining.
