New radiation therapy for cancer that has spread to the body

Who can take part

  • Your cancer must have spread from the original site (metastatic cancer) and be confirmed by biopsy, imaging, or other testing
  • You have 1–2 tumors outside the brain that are larger than 2.5 cm across (roughly 1 inch)
  • You are at least 12 years old
  • Your overall health/ability to do daily activities is good to moderate (ECOG score of 0–2)
  • You have never received radiation therapy to the tumor being treated in this study
  • You do not have lupus, scleroderma, Li Fraumeni syndrome, or blood cancers like lymphoma or myeloma
