This study tests a special glass fiber dressing (called a bioactive glass matrix) that may help heal venous leg ulcers faster. You'll receive either this new dressing or standard wound care, along with compression therapy, to see which works better.

Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have a venous leg ulcer (a wound on your lower leg from poor vein circulation) that has lasted between 4 weeks and 18 months.
- Your wound should be between 2 and 20 square centimeters (about the size of a pea to a small apple).
- You must be willing to wear compression bandages during the study.
- The wound must not be infected, and you cannot have certain other serious health conditions (like severe kidney disease or poorly controlled diabetes).
