  • You are having surgery to remove a brain tumor (not through the nose)
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are in generally good health (ASA grade 1–3, meaning no serious heart, lung, or other organ problems)
  • You can understand and sign a consent form
  • You have no previous abdominal or belly surgery
  • You weigh less than what corresponds to a BMI of 35 (your doctor can check this)
