Who can take part
- You must have prostate cancer with a Gleason Grade Group of 3 (meaning the cancer cells look moderately aggressive).
- Your PSA level must be 20 or lower (PSA is a blood test for prostate cancer).
- You must be 50 years or older and have a life expectancy of at least 10 years.
- Your cancer must be at a limited stage (not spread outside the prostate) based on a PSMA PET scan and MRI done within the last 6 months.
- You must have had a fusion biopsy (a biopsy that uses MRI images to target the cancer) within the last 6 months, and the biopsy must show that the cancer is only in one area of the prostate.
- You must not have had any prior treatment for prostate cancer (like surgery, radiation, or hormone therapy).
