Study of UCB8600 on gut mast cells in IBS and colorectal cancer

Who can take part

  • You are having surgery for colorectal cancer and have not had chemotherapy or radiation before surgery.
  • You are 18 or older (if in the surgery group) or between 18 and 65 years old (if in the IBS group).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30 (not obese).
  • You are not taking certain allergy medicines (antihistamines) at the time of surgery or biopsy.
  • You are not taking blood thinners (for IBS group only).
