Who can take part
- You have HIV and have been on steady treatment for at least 12 months
- Your viral load has been undetectable (below 50 copies per mL) for at least 6 months
- Your CD4 count is 350 or higher
- You already need a colonoscopy for a medical reason (like routine screening)
- You do not have active inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or ulcerative colitis)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
