Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a completely cut nerve in your forearm, hand, or upper arm that needs to be repaired with a graft
  • The nerve gap after cleaning the ends is larger than 1 inch (25 mm)
  • The repair surgery happens within 4 months of the injury
  • You do not have other conditions like diabetes or nerve disease that could affect healing
