Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have a type B aortic dissection (a tear in the main artery) that is not new (subacute or chronic) and you are scheduled for a stent-graft procedure.
- The area where the plug will be placed (in the false channel) is not too large, as measured on a CT scan.
- Your blood vessels allow the doctor to reach the false channel through a catheter from your leg or lower belly.
- You do not have Marfan syndrome, an active infection, or recent heart attack/stroke.
