Who can take part

  • You have a type B aortic dissection that started within the last 30 days (acute or subacute).
  • You have typical symptoms and your diagnosis is confirmed by imaging.
  • The dissection goes down past the kidney arteries into the lower abdominal aorta.
  • You are scheduled for elective TEVAR (stent repair) combined with false lumen embolization.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have not had prior aortic surgery or stent repair.
  • You have not had a heart attack or stroke in the last 6 months.
  • You do not have uncontrolled diseases like advanced cancer or severe organ failure.
