Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 90 days
- You are either currently taking an SGLT2i drug (like dapagliflozin) or have never taken one and are on other diabetes medicines
- Your recent A1C (a measure of average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7.0% and 10.5% if on SGLT2i, or between 7.5% and 10.5% if not on SGLT2i
- Your kidneys are not working as well as normal (impaired renal function)
- Your BMI is 23 or higher
- Your weight has been stable for the past 90 days
