  • You are male, aged 12 to 65.
  • You have severe hemophilia A, meaning your factor VIII level is below 1%.
  • You have been treated with factor VIII products at least 150 times before (about 150 exposure days).
  • You do not currently have or have not had a factor VIII inhibitor (antibodies that interfere with treatment).
  • Your liver, kidneys, and blood counts are within safe limits (checked by screening tests).
