Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a cancer diagnosis: lung cancer, metastatic lung cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, or thymus tumor.
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy to your chest area.
  • You have no known heart disease and your heart pumps blood normally (LVEF of 50% or higher).
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to join the study.
  • You have not had radiation to your chest in the past.
