Who can take part

  • You have a body mass index (BMI) of 24 or higher if you have type 2 diabetes, or BMI 28 or higher if you don't, or BMI between 24 and 28 with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure or fatty liver.
  • You agree to use contraception during the study if needed.
  • You do not have type 1 diabetes or obesity caused by other hormone disorders.
  • You have not had a suicide attempt in the past, and you don't have unstable depression or other severe mental health issues.
  • You have not taken any GLP-1 based medications (like Ozempic or Wegovy) in the last 6 months.
