Who can take part

  • You are age 60 to 80
  • You are currently physically inactive (under 150 minutes/week of moderate-to-hard activity)
  • You do not have major long-term heart, lung, metabolic, or nerve/muscle diseases that would make training unsafe
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or less
  • You do not smoke, and you do not drink more than 10 grams of alcohol per day
  • You can give informed consent and have health coverage
