Who can take part

  • You must be a woman who is still having menstrual periods (premenopausal).
  • You should not have any serious heart, lung, or muscle/bone disease.
  • You cannot be on hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
  • You must not smoke or drink alcohol heavily.
  • You should not have done any special training (like altitude or hypoxia workouts) in the last 6 months.
  • Your bone density T-score must be normal (between +1.0 and -1.0).
