Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You have a tight, tender spot in the muscle on the back of your dominant forearm that doesn't cause pain unless pressed.
  • You have no pain or problems in your arm, wrist, or hand for at least the last two months.
  • You are not afraid of needles, do not have bleeding disorders, and are not pregnant.
  • You do not take pain medication regularly (at least once a week).
