Dry Needling for Shoulder Pain in Young Athletes

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with subacromial pain syndrome (shoulder pain with specific physical exam findings)
  • You play sports involving your arms and shoulders at least 2–4 hours per week
  • You have not had shoulder or arm surgery before
  • You have not received shoulder treatment (medical or physical therapy) in the past month
  • You are willing to receive dry needling treatment and are not afraid of needles
