Testing a ring for lens stability in nearsighted cataract patients

This study tests whether a small ring placed around the lens implant during cataract surgery helps keep the implant stable for people with high myopia (severe nearsightedness). It could lead to better vision and fewer complications after surgery.

Ring for better lens placement in RP cataract surgery

This trial tests whether using a capsular tension ring (a small support ring) during cataract surgery helps keep the artificial lens more stable in people with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and cataracts. It may reduce lens shifting after surgery.
