Who can take part

  • You have had or will have a stem cell transplant from a half-matched donor
  • You have at least one risk factor for viral infection, such as being over 50, under 14, or having a donor with different CMV or EBV status
  • You must have a suitable donor available to provide the special immune cells
  • Your liver, kidney, heart, and lung function must be adequate as determined by standard tests
  • You cannot have severe graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) or an active viral infection at the time of treatment
