Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You have been eating less than half of your daily energy needs for at least 1 month.
  • You have not been using a feeding tube before getting a PEG tube placed.
  • You do not have cancer or diabetes.
  • You are expected to live longer than 3 months.
  • You are able to provide accurate medical information and can attend follow-up visits.
