Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with primary restless legs syndrome (RLS).
  • You are 21 years or older.
  • Your RLS symptoms mainly affect your lower legs or feet.
  • Your RLS wakes you up or makes it hard to fall back asleep at least 3 nights per week.
  • You agree not to change your RLS or sleep medications during the study.
  • You do not have a pacemaker, metal implant in your legs, epilepsy, or ongoing skin sores where the device goes.
