Who can take part

  • You have chest pain or a recent heart-related event and need a heart catheterization.
  • Your doctor plans to check blood flow in your arteries using standard pressure measurements.
  • You have a blockage (30-90% narrowed) or very mild narrowing (less than 30%) in your heart arteries.
  • You have not had a heart attack or stent placed in the same artery being tested in the last year.
  • You have not had bypass surgery, valve surgery, or a heart transplant.
  • Your heart function (ejection fraction) is above 45% and you are not in shock.
