RFR-guided heart artery treatment for moderate blockages

Who can take part

  • You have a moderate blockage (50-90% narrowed) in one or more heart arteries, as seen on an angiogram.
  • Your doctor has decided to use a special pressure wire test (RFR) to decide if you need a stent.
  • Your heart's pumping strength is not severely weak (ejection fraction is above 30%).
  • You are not having a heart attack or in shock, and you don't have a heart valve problem or a weak heart muscle condition.
  • You have not had bypass surgery that left a working graft to the artery we would treat.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have another serious illness that might shorten your life.
