Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 64 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with grade 2 cervical spondylosis (neck arthritis) for 2 to 6 weeks.
  • Your neck pain is mild to moderate (on a 0–10 scale, around 3–7).
  • You are able to follow instructions and give informed consent.
  • You have not had neck surgery in the last month or have an unstable neck.
  • You do not have inflammatory arthritis, infection, tumor, fracture, or uncontrolled heart/lung problems.
  • You are not a smoker and do not have diabetes.
