Who can take part

  • You are 21 years or older.
  • You have chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) with fluid that has been present for at least 3 months.
  • The fluid involves the center of your vision (fovea) and your choroid (the layer under the retina) is thicker than normal.
  • Your vision in the study eye is between 20/32 and 20/300 (moderate to severe vision loss).
  • You have not had prior treatments like anti-VEGF injections in the last 6 months, photodynamic therapy ever, or steroid injections in the study eye.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you can become pregnant, you agree to use reliable birth control.
