Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have pain in the middle of the Achilles tendon or at the heel attachment for 1 month or more.
  • You are able to speak and understand Swedish.
  • You have not had shockwave therapy for this pain in the past year.
  • You have not had a steroid injection in the foot in the past 6 months.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder, take blood thinners, are pregnant, or have a foot tumor.
