Who can take part

  • You have stage III or IV kidney cancer that has spread or come back and can't be removed with surgery.
  • Your disease has been stable for at least 3 months while on pembrolizumab, but then it started growing or you couldn't tolerate the side effects.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (like a CT or MRI).
  • You are 18 years or older, and your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months.
  • You have enough tumor tissue from a past biopsy or surgery to run special genetic tests.
  • Your blood counts, liver, kidney, and heart function are within certain limits.
