Who can take part
- You have stage III or IV kidney cancer that has come back or spread, and it can't be removed with surgery.
- You have been on pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy drug) for at least 3 months and your disease has been stable.
- You have a tumor sample (from a biopsy or past surgery) that can be tested for special markers.
- You are 18 or older, and your general health is good enough to likely live at least 3 more months.
- Your organs (blood, liver, kidneys, heart) are working well enough, based on blood tests and heart tests.
- You haven't had certain prior treatments, like more than one line of immunotherapy, a CTLA-4 inhibitor, or a tumor vaccine before.
