Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 35 years old.
- You play indoor sports like basketball or volleyball at an intermediate or professional level.
- Your weight is in a normal to slightly above healthy range (BMI 22.5–28).
- You land on the front of your foot when running or jumping.
- Your big toe bends upward less than 37 degrees when you try to lift it while standing.
- Your big toe is weaker on one side compared to the other (at least a 4-pound difference).
- You have a callus or thickened skin on the inner side of your big toe joint.
