Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (a specific type called adenocarcinoma).
  • Your cancer must be classified as high-risk or very high-risk according to standard guidelines.
  • You must have good urinary function (score of 20 or less on a standard questionnaire).
  • You need to have had an MRI of the prostate and other scans (CT chest, abdomen, pelvis, and a bone scan).
  • You cannot have received radiation therapy to the pelvic area in the past.
  • You must not have a history of inflammatory bowel disease or active severe proctitis.
