  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You need cardiac rehabilitation for a heart problem and are admitted to a specific rehab unit.
  • You can walk at least 200 meters (about 2 city blocks) without a cane or walker.
  • You do not have a condition that makes climbing stairs unsafe for you.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator.
