Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You must have mild or moderate liver impairment (Child-Pugh class A or B) from chronic liver disease, like hepatitis or cirrhosis, or have normal liver function as a comparison group.
- Your weight must be at least 110 pounds (women) or 110 pounds (men), and your BMI must be between 19 and 32.
- You must not have taken any medications for at least 2 weeks before the study starts (unless on a stable regimen for liver or other conditions for 4 weeks).
- You cannot smoke more than 5 cigarettes per day or drink more than 14 units of alcohol per week in the month before the study, and no heavy caffeine use.
- You must use effective birth control from 2 weeks before the study to 6 months after, and not donate sperm or eggs.
