Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have had a stroke caused by a blood clot in the brain
- A CT or MRI scan shows no bleeding in your brain
- You are eligible for a procedure to remove the clot (called endovascular thrombectomy)
- Your stroke symptoms are at least moderate (NIHSS score of 2 or more)
- Your overall health is good to fair (ASA physical status I-III)
