Who can take part

  • You have advanced lung cancer (stage 3B, 3C, or 4) that can't be removed with surgery or treated with radiation and chemotherapy together.
  • Your cancer tests positive for PD-L1 (a protein) and does not have certain gene changes (like EGFR or ALK).
  • You have not had any prior cancer treatment for advanced disease, though you may have had treatment after surgery if it's been more than 6 months.
  • You are at least 18 years old and in generally good health (able to care for yourself).
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
