Who can take part

  • You are 50 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with early or intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
  • Your vision (with glasses or contacts) in the eye being studied is between 20/30 and 20/200.
  • You do not have any other eye diseases like wet AMD, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma that could affect the results.
  • You have not had any eye injections or laser treatments in the past.
  • You are generally healthy and do not have uncontrolled chronic diseases or a history of certain cancers.
