Who can take part

  • You are a newborn baby between 36 and 42 weeks of pregnancy
  • You may be healthy, at risk, or diagnosed with oxygen loss at birth
  • If healthy, your Apgar scores (a quick health check after birth) are normal
  • If diagnosed, your birth weight must be at least 1800 grams (about 4 pounds)
  • You do not have any major health problems from pregnancy or delivery that would keep you from joining
