Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with tuberculosis that can be treated with standard drugs.
  • You have been on effective TB treatment for at least 2 weeks and your condition is stable or improving.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have not had a bad reaction to isoniazid before.
  • You do not take certain medicines like corticosteroids (unless on a stable low dose), antacids with aluminum, carbamazepine, phenytoin, or theophylline.
