Who can take part

  • You must be 65 years old or older
  • You must have a diagnosis of ADHD (any type: inattentive, hyperactive/impulsive, or combined)
  • You must score at least 14 on a screening scale for ADHD symptoms and 24 on another scale at the start
  • You must not have certain heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a history of stroke
  • You must not have bipolar disorder, active suicidal thoughts, or substance use disorder
  • You must not have had a bad reaction to methylphenidate (the drug in Foquest) in the past
